Crowded hyacinths reach 30"
This seems to be a growth summer. Jim kept the hyacinths in the long veggie
filter. They are now 30" tall. Everything else is growing like mad. We've thrown out several bushels full of the hyacinth. The roots are not as long as when the hyacinths were shorter. Mine aren't that large!!! I sure hate tossing them into the compost pile.
I guess this is the flip side of getting a pond's water in balance. -- Wendy* in N. California, "Confidence comes not from always being right but from not fearing to be wrong." - Peter T.
