Default Lotus petals falling off prematurely

I don't know of any lotuses that stay open 24 hours a day.

You are sure you catch them real early in the morning? Many
do open about 4am - then they begin to close about 9am...
could it be your missing the bloom?

Well ya never know, could be both the nursery or myself is wrong, is there
another or other lotus(es) that do stay open? This one doesn't have the
usual flat seed pods either. ~ jan

Nope, these things are fully open. Eventually I'll have pictures to show,
when I finish off this roll. ~ jan
