What size UV light should I be looking at?
I've been told both 25 and 40w.
Are there brands that are suggested over others?

Per Aquatic Eco the recommended size would be 40 watts, but some have gotten
good results with much smaller units. The 25 watt unit gives the energy
level needed as a new bulb, but all bulbs deteriorate with usage.

Also as I have found out it depends on what is in your pond. What plants you
have. How much sun you get. There are all kinds of variables.
