Default Lotus Question

New Lotus this summer. The lotus leaves are starting to curl and look old.
Is it time to cut them back and put it in the garage? The lotus tub is way
too large to drop in the pond. Or just move it and leave the leaves be?
Will frost hurt it provided the roots haven't frozen?

SW Ontario - nights close to freezing - days still nice on and off. Today
is 70+F.

Thanks all...

Heather, I think the garage would be a great place for the lotus.
You can leave the leaves intact or cut them down to about 7 or 8
inches above the crown of the plant. and leave some water
over the crown. I'd keep an eye on it ... and not let it dry out over
the winter. It should be fine.
