Default tree lifespans??

anyone know where to find a good source for determining how long different
varieties of trees live. especially popular southern US trees?

Here's one pointer for you:

Scroll down a bit and there's a "longevity" section that lists trees
with lifespans of up to 25 years, 25 to 50, and 50+. Hope this helps.
