The predicted height of plants in seed catologs
I wonder if the same thing happens to you guys. Nothing I planted last Spring came out what was on the seed descriptions. My o'clock were 4' and 5' tall rather than the 2' on the seed package. I had cosmos get 7' tall, even the white sonata cosmos were nearly 5'. They were beautiful but got so ugly when they started flopping over each other. I will plant them again because they were very pretty but somewhere close to a fence or trellis so I will have a place to tie them upright. Any other plants I should know get bigger in Texas? I'm in New Caney - north of Houston. Thanks -- Rhonda Smith |
