Local source for safflower seeds?
Anybody know of a local source for 25 lbs or 50 lbs bags of safflower
seeds? It's an alternative to sunflower seed for feeding birds which squirrels don't like. Pet stores have small size bags, but are rather pricey at about $1 per pound. I can find 50 lbs bags on the internet for $20, but then there are shipping cost. . . deg |

A 50 lbs bag is $35 or they'll weigh out whatever you need. Still significantly more expensive than sunflower seed, but worth it to me to avoid the squirrel problem. They are running low at the moment, but more are scheduled to arrive tomorrow. deg |
