Default Will anoles eat scorpions?

Just curious - do anoles eat scorpions, or do they avoid stingy-type
insects in favor of easier prey?

Anoles eat bugs. Scorpions would probably eat anoles.

Actually, that's what my first thought was - but forcing them to duke it
out wouldn't really answer the question of what they'd do in the wild.

Hehe
Gotta admit the only scorpions I know are the black ones they sell in the pet
stores an I've never seen an anole eat anything but a bug. I figure the
scorpion would sting and kill the anole before it could eat it. But I do not
know this for a FACT.

Scorpions _are_ "bugs"!

The best way we ever found to control scorpions was a small flock of pet
mallard ducks.

They never hesitated to eat scorpions!

Really? I thought they were an invertebrate, some kind of crab-type creature.
Guess I'll have to look them up. But not right now, got stuff to do.

Not a joke actually... ;-)
When I was a Sophomore in College, I used to collect some of the "local"
scorpions as pets.

One of the females had babies and like scorpions do, she carried them on
her back.

I tried to provide them with food (baby mealworms) but the mother
scorpion died. Her babies sucked her dry.

Then the crickets I'd put in the tank to feed her ate the baby
scorpions.......
