calla lily
Hi Everyone
I have bought a calla lily a few weeks ago and unfortunately it's not doing to well. I'm keeping it inside, next to the window /not direct sun/, watering every other day. Leaves started turning yellow and they just don't look healthy. I don't have much experience with this type of flowers so any word of advice would be very appreciated: what kind of light, soil, how often should I water it. I want to keep it indoors, possibly in my kitchen or living room. Any ideas? Thanks peter |

calla lily
We have two calla lilies in our pool garden both in full
sun. One has spectacular blooms right now. They like moist, not wet, soil and they like sun. Our limey clay soils need amendment with some organic matter to loosen it up and 2" of mulch keeps the soil from drying out. We water no more than twice weekly during exceptionally hot and dry weather. I doubt that a calla would ever be happy as an indoor plant. Good luck, Jessi peter wrote: Hi Everyone I have bought a calla lily a few weeks ago and unfortunately it's not doing to well.
