Pear tree problem ... help !
My pear tree leaves are looking like they are burnt:
http://www.geocities.com/rbalach/pear_leaf.jpg Any idea what could be wrong ? Also i saw a bunch of these crawling around on the tree: http://www.geocities.com/rbalach/pear_bug.jpg Could they be the cause of the leaves turning black / burnt ? sorry for the fuzzy pics, the breeze kept blowing the leaves around. Thanks in advance |

Too much water can do it.

I thought too much water causes leaves to turn yellow and soft and fall off.

I watered mine too much & my leaves look just like yours:-)
However, there could be another cause - like heat? Mine keep coming back, so I quit worrying about it. Gene "br" wrote in message om... Sounds like it to me.
