A good climber for a fence?
I have a 10m feather edge pence and want a few climbers to grow on it,
but i dont want ones that really bush out into the borders. But got nice flowers and if possibe evergreen. Is there one? Thanks |

Sorry it's 2.8m high but 10m long. I dont want the whole fence covered
but say 3 or 4 diffrent places. |

Ah more infomation lol
In South Wales the fence is on the north/east side gets the morning sun till 12/1pm. Then will be in shade. |

Then NOT Campsis x taglibuana or several others. Most honeysuckles, most clematis etc. You should fix some wire or netting for all of those (plus Akebia quinata). Clematis armandii is excellent, and is evergreen and flowers vigorously and with a strong scent in spring. You may succeed with Holboellia. Virginia creeper and climbing hydrangea (and relatives) will self cling, and the latter do flower. Regards, Nick Maclaren. |
