Default Can I move crocuses 'in the green'?

I've moved a load of mine and so far they are still alive but don't know
what long term effect it will have.

I don't think they take much harm if you can dig them up with a good
clump of soil. If they're in flower now you could wait til they're
finished but I have moved patches of crocus while in bud before and they
just carried on as if nothing had happened.
