Can I move crocuses 'in the green'?
I've moved a load of mine and so far they are still alive but don't know
what long term effect it will have. -- Hayley (gardening on well drained, alkaline clay in Somerset) |

"H Ryder" wrote I've moved a load of mine and so far they are still alive but don't know what long term effect it will have. I don't think they take much harm if you can dig them up with a good clump of soil. If they're in flower now you could wait til they're finished but I have moved patches of crocus while in bud before and they just carried on as if nothing had happened. -- Sue |

The message valid
from Lazarus Cooke contains these words: ....the way I would snowdrops? Not recommended. But you *CAN*. -- Rusty Direct reply to: horrid dot squeak snailything zetnet point co period uk Separator in search of a sig |
