make sure you get one that's got its clock set to the correct date




least you set the clock..........mountfield hmmmm........now you need a
competent person to operate it for you

I want your views on the best new petrol mower for under £300.....

Cylinder or rotary, you decide!


i used to do a similar thing, part time grass cutting at one point. i
bought a Hayter because the local council used them and boy did they take a
bashing from all and sundry.

they seem very tough machines and use the briggs and stratton engine which
seems well thought of.

negotiate on the price from a small agent or supplier. mine used to clog up
if the grass was very wet, i dont know if they have cured it. so you had to
carry around a small stick to poke the grass free.

customers a week to start with so should be ok..... hopefully!

You often have to 'talk out' before you know what it is you are going to be
doin............
