Default snow!

Quite a lot of it! - 4-6 inches! Woke in the night to a very bright
garden, with the trees draped magically in a thick lacework of white.
Sadly by 6 when I got up much of it had already gone off the trees. Dog
and I wandered around to see the effects: Something nearly as big as she
(large fox?) had been all over, and in the front something(s) had fought
- to the death?

But as for the garden: I think it's put paid to the daffodils. The
flowering cherry is just on the point of blossom: I do hope it isn't too
damaged! And everything is poking up in the perennial bed, but late, so
probably they will be undamaged. And the melting snow is, of course, all
to the good!
