Default First Mowing Of Season Question

My neighbours have been out with their mowers this past week.

I have several grass areas which don't look as though they need cutting yet.

Am I missing something here or can I just leave them until they reach their
normal height for cutting ? (I can concentrate on weeding meanwhile).

Thanks.

M

You sometimes find that in some areas, 'If one cuts they all follow
like sheep and cut'
You have the right idea, 'Cut when it needs cutting, ie when it gets to
the normal height.'

Get out there and mow mow mow!

But...

Do what I didn't do and check your blade(s) first. I only found out
that mine was blunt as anything when I'd ripped the back lawn to
shreds!

Oh, and rake it too - you may be shocked by the state of it when you
have, but it'll recover soon enough!

Good luck!
