I propose putting a Bowls Green near to the corner flag of a Football
Pitch. Whilst there will be sufficient room between the two for the odd
football to be overshot, I thought that a hedge would be a good idea.
Given that the distance between to 2 would be say 3 - 4 metres, what
hedge would the readers suggest? Privet too slow. Beech? Quickthorn to
quick and too much maintenance. (We envisage a full time groundsman will
be employed) We could just put a 6ft chain link fence up, but ;-(
