Just the size for choking on when placed in the mouth and when on the ground a serious slip hazard. Our children once complained that they'd lost a marble in the garden. OIn day I was digging and found a marble. "I've found it!" I called. They were pleased. That was thirty odd years ago. Now, very frequently when I trowel (not dig) the garden I find a marble. I always call, "I've found it!" Spouse always knows what I mean. The children are long gone. The marbles are forming a l-o-n-g line along a windowsill. Where DO they all come from? And why don't grandchildren want them? Mary |
