Default Unknown tree

Hi all,

last summer we went to Portugal and took some seeds home to let them grow.
Most of them didn't do anything but 2 did, and now these small trees grow
very quickly. I'd love to see how the leafs open up in the morning and close
again in the evening.

The seeds are tiny (1-2mm), very black, hard and were packed into some light
color bean (curved ~5cm). The seeds were connected to the bean with some
kind of bright orange string, folded around the seed.

The tree where we took the seeds from has many branches and grows quite low.
We took all the seeds/beans directly from the tree, though many were already
laying on the ground.

What kind of tree can this be? We already looked on the internet, but didnt
found this kind of seeds in a bean.
