Too true! I've climbed enough poles and renewed enough cabling owing to
shrubs/trees. It the end, they become unclimbable and then require a
hoist which delays repairs owing to specialist vehicles being needed.

And what about engineeers mounting cables near gardens which may well have
these things planted in them?
