Default Strawberries

Hi,

I am very new to gardening and am almost entirely reliant on my
gardener for the basics.

However, today, I planted out some Calendula and strawberries into
seed trays and covered them, ready for germination. The trouble is,
I'm not sure whether I should leave them out in the greenhouse to
germinate, or bring them in to the garage which gets a fair bit of
light but where it is probably a fair bit warmer. The packets for both
sets of seeds said that I should plant them indoors in February but I
just don't know whether that means inside a greenhouse, or inside an
unheated but protected garage.

Can anybody help me?

Thanks

Howard
