Forgive my 'ignorance',Adam, I will try to give a reply
but please bear in mind that I am not a toxicologist
or a vet.
I suggest that you read the small print on the
Ibuprofin bottle/package/container for the
maximum recommended dosage, and if this
exceeds the amount you administer to a cat
you should be safe.

Bon appetit !

Take care skinning them. If you stretch the skins
over a frame to dry you could make a sale in the
fur market.

Wishing you every success,

Sam

I suggest that anyone sufficiently interested does a Google search on Adam
Bailey. Otherwise, better to ignore, IMO.

With such a stupid question you were just reported

I beg your pardon? Reported to who and for what?

I'm not Robert, but the answers at a guess would be:
RSPCA
Police
For cruelty

If you really are genuine (which I too doubt) then it's a bit daft, to say
the least, to come onto any group and make your very first post an extremely
controversial not to say unpopular one. Many gardeners are also cat-lovers,
and equally some are not. There is one particular self-confessed cat hater
on this group and it may well be that it has been assumed that you are he. He
is I would judge universally loathed and probably almost universally
kill-filed.

Reminds me of the Chinese "restaurant" the whole town went to in my
youth. It was done over and convicted when the Health inspectors found 11
cat heads in their garbage bins. The level of patronage wasn't the least
bit effected by the prosecution outcome.

Years ago in a local town a Dog Handler was dispatched from the local
Police Station to get their usual Chinese take-away. On entering the
Restaurant, as usual by the back door, he asked for a beer while he waited
and was told to get one out of the fridge himself. On opening the door he
saw an Alsatians head on a plate looking at him!
Despite the publicity the subsequent prosecution generated that restaurant
was still there the last time I looked.

What a shock for the poor Dog Handler!

The Chinese restaurant that we used to go to in our youth was there for at
least another 20 years too (and may still be as far as I know). I've often
wondered how it (and now the restaurant you mention) survived. I assume
they must just pay a fine and be subject to health inspections for some time
till they are considered to no longer be at risk of offending.

A woman I knew in the 70s spoke fluent Cantonese and as she was in the
Diplomatic Corp she got around SE Asia a lot. Since fur coats were then all
the vogue, she decided to buy herself a fur coat. She went into a Chinese
run fur shop and was served by the owner who spoke perfect English. As she
was trying on a coat he said in Cantonese to his assistant "Don't tell her
that it's made from cat". As a cat lover she gave them a right rollicking
in Cantonese and left the shop. Apparently the reaction of the Owner and
his assistant was to look less than inscrutable.
