ornamental cabbages
These plants are usually very expensive to buy in the garden centers so I
decided to grow some from seed, they have germinated very quickly and are growing well at the moment. Do they need any special treatment or do they just do their own thing. kate |

I grew ornamental kale once, in a greenhouse; left the door open, went on holiday, returned to find cabbage white butterflies had got in and their caterpillars had completely eaten the plants. So my advice is to cover the plants with protective netting or fleece. |
