compost - ants
I'm using my two dalek compost bins on my allotment.
Yesterday found that there were lots and lots of ants inside one of them. Is this beneficial or harmful - if harmful what do I need to do to eradicate them? Thanks in advance Alan North of Porsmouth |

No. Like woodlice, they are generally an indication that it is too dry. Correct that, if true, and ignore them. They will do neither good nor harm. Regards, Nick Maclaren. |
