Default At last...

Its raining this morning so I am unable to finish a small project I have
been planning for the last three years. We had this great ugly overgrown
Laurel along the boundary wall which I hated the look of. Problem was it
does screen us from the apartments opposite. Three years ago I started by
cutting back the road facing side and have been regularly trimming that side
and part of the top to shape. At last his year it looks quite good on that
side, so out with the new toy.

I have recently bought this and despite it being a cheap Chinese model it
works amazingly well. The pole chainsaw attachment was used to reduce this.
I had already made a start before taking this one.

I am quite pleased with the result. Having trimmed the other side it is
dense enough to still screen us from the apartments, and hopefully a couple
more years growth will have it looking neat our side as well. The little
chainsaw on the pole machine easily cut through Laurel trunks up to 8 inches
thick. It also felt much safer using it due to the distance between me and
the saw.

I think the rain is stopping now.
