Default Rose the wrong colour

We have a Rose which according to the label is Grandma
http://www.myalbum.com/Album-BEFXP8L...%20-Other.html but as it was
given on either a Birthday or Mothering Sunday, we 'assumed' that this Rose,
from a range 'A Rose for a special occasion, was suitably named, so I
googled it, only to find that Grandma, from the same nurseries Burstin' is
Yellow !!

Any suggestions?

Mike

This is what it should be...
http://www.rosesuk.com/rose_locator/...69_grandma.php
but it's not in the RHS Plantfinder under the name "Grandma" but then it
only came out in 2004.

Goodness knows what you've got, perhaps an email to the suppliers will
ascertain the correct name as their site doesn't seem to work atm.

Thanks Bob, that is the site I went to to discover it should be Deep
Yellow!!!

Thus my question as to whether it was something 'suitable', 'a nice red/pink
rose' for Mothering Sunday or a Birthday!!

Suffered terribly from Black Spot, was pruned hard and now growing again.
Always been that colour.

Mike
