What does it have to make you think it is a bug? Can you see eyes, legs,
does it run about or fly?

What does it have to make you think it is a bug? Can you see eyes, legs,
does it run about or fly?

Thank you,
our son, who took the photo, named the photo as hairybug. I have not
changed.
I have called it an insect for want of a better word but am sure that it is
animal as opposed to mineral or vegetable.
It is entirely immobile at this stage and firmly stuck to a radiator.
No eyes or legs visible.
Faintly visible through the hairy covering is a ringed (yellow/orange -
black/brown) pattern.
