Happy Birthday to Janet
Happy Birthday, Janet Tweedy! I'm only sorry that it is such a
disgustingly wet and windy one - perhaps you're luckier, though! Yet again, the weather here is absolutely vile and makes me wish we could just have a duvet day! Whatever the weather, I hope your day is a good one, Janet. -- Sacha www.hillhousenursery.com Shrubs & perennials. Tender & exotics. South Devon |

The sun is shining in Zuid Holland. ... Well it was until I mentioned it. It is misty in Nord Hollandhttp://www.compagnieshaven.nl/component/option,com_wrapper/Itemid,8/l... -- Martin It's much the same here Martin, although usually by midday the sun will find a way through. The nights are getting cold now though. |

How kind - yes it wasn't bad, I went to the gym and then was supposed to be gardening for someone. I am in the middle of pickaxing out her flower beds removing 6 years of very invasive ivy plus saplings of hazel, sycamore, etc etc and then there's the phlomis that has grown about 12 foot from the trunk and immense stands of phygelius. Anyway it was peeing with rain and a friend called with her card on her way to John Lewis at Wycombe so i ducked out of the gardening as by then you couldn't see more than a couple of feet in front of you due to the torrent, and went off to trundle round the store. Then there was Ceroc in the evening so on the whole not a bad day Difficult in some ways cos it was the first one since Tom died but even so not as bad as it might have been. Janet Yes, not an easy one, 'firsts' are always particularly bloody, but good for you, Janet. You've got guts. And look at this way, there's a bonus - you had enough sense to come in out of the rain. ;-) Happy this one and many, many more of them. -- Sacha www.hillhousenursery.com Shrubs & perennials.
