I spotted a Willow Gentian, shrub? on t.v. yesterday and would love to
have one. Does anyone on the group grow this?

Hi Kate,

Yes, I fell for it too - Gentian Asclepiadea. It was on "Flying
Gardener"on Friday and loads of it was planted in Cally Gardens. I
immediately ordered the seeds from Plant World of Devon! They say it
is easy to grow. Looking forward to the seeds!

Iris McCanna

Iris, thank you for that information, I might try it although I am not
very good with seeds, it was stunning, got to have one or two :-)
good luck with yours

Beautiful, yes. But don't forget it likes neutral to acid soil.

Respect.

Hussein, thanks for that, but did I check before ordering the seeds.
My soil is acid so should be fine.

Thank you all very much for the information. I see from the list of
nurseries that there are two close to me. No prizes for guessing where I
am going soon :-)
