log(1/50)=log(0.02)=-1.69897=-log(50)

But minus the logarithm of the reciprocal of the hydrogen ion
concentration is wrong. It's one or the other, not both ;-)

Ah, those I exempt from punishment.

There hve though, been many instances lately of replies piling up until
you could use the scroll-bar for a pole-vault.
