On the basis of flavour first and yield second, which tomato variety do
you favour?
Don

Can't go wrong with Gardener's Delight - a fabulous little tomato - great
taste, great yield and extremely easy to grow!

Jo

If you have a sweet tooth or grandchildren there is only one tomato to
grow. That's Sungold. For traditional toms Ruth's Delight is excellent.
Like tomatoes used to taste.

Indeed on the Sungold. They are incredibly sweet - very few of the ones I
grew ever made it back to the kitchen - they were consumed like sweet
berries rather than as a 'veggie'

Is Gardener's Delight a well-defined variety? I was under the impression that, like Champagne rhubarb, it is a rather vague description of a type of thing rather than a well-defined variety.
