Default Potatoes at last!

Well, we finally had a few of our first earlies last night. They are
'Rocket', and I confess I was a little bit nervous after comments about
tastelessness in an earlier thread. Even though I have a very damaged
sense of taste, I was able to enjoy them and RG (the Husband Thingy)
liked them too. I was very pleased with their good, clean condition. A
couple had a few marks of common scab, which is not surprising since
they were grown in(huge)tubs in hot, dry conditions, but otherwise they
were perfect.

I've also got a tub of 'Vivaldi' second earlies coming on, but I shall
let those grow on a while so I get a bigger crop. When I've had a chomp
on those, I shall report back.
