Default Merry Christmas. Don't forget the bird's water

Merry Christmas to everyone.

Hope you are fairing better than those in Sandown Isle of Wight area and
around us. Burst Water Main pipe somewhere in the area and either no water
or very low pressure :-))

Plan 'B' now in operation. We have low pressure but at least some water :-))

Best Wishes all

Don't forget the bird's water. Ours is freezing hard and I am having to
break the surface on a regular basis.

Mike

Very unkind of to let just one bird drink

Merry Christmas!

Very good, I was wondering for ages what you meant.
Should have been birds not bird's?

Derek, were/are you a school teacher?

But yes it's a struggle to keep the water liquid but a neighbour swears
that they prefer the snow because of their natural instinct, and we have
snow, too much of it.
On the chance that he is wrong we take off the ice regularly but have not
noticed any birds drinking though there are Blackbirds in the garden.

I am inclined to agree about water troughs for the birds.
More essential in drought conditions.

Birds' water should do.

Tell you what, I've seen them pecking snow off the branches.

Actually you may be out by several months but you know how organised
religion likes to lie whilst telling it's flock not to! ;-)
