has anyone seen any slugs or snails about anywhere yet? plz let me know
and what location ,, many thanks... spinksy

Been dealing with slugs for a couple of weeks here in central South
Wales. First snails appeared earlier this week. I have a reliable late
night slug despatch method which involves a small bucket of heavily
salted water and a can of lager (has to be a can as glasses are
difficult to hold at the same time as the bucket handle). Waiting for
the prickly despatch method to arrive - they're late this year.
Thrushes take care of the snails.
hi jake, thanks for letting me know,, i have not seen any down here in the south near brighton yet,, i am waiting patiently, make sure the beer is for the slugs lol. regards spinksy

Hi Spinksy, I bought some of your slug and snail rings and think they're great! Haven't seen too much slug action yet, but I reckon your rings will do the trick. I'd also be interested to know what other sizes you plan to make, and when they might be available?

Cheers, P

I like the sound of the larger ring. I might try it upside down on the ground around plants which are at risk in the garden rather than in pots. Thanks for the info

hi paul, you would need to ensure the points are pointing upwards and that the slugs cannot dig under the ring, slugs have been known to burrow.... good luck,, spinksy

Perhaps the poster should take note on how to do it on urg. Post regularly
on just about every comment made on urg and make sure the business is well
and truly talked about, on an almost daily basis, and seen in the signature

Spinks doesn't do the latter and he has plugged his wares far too
often to comply with the former. So yes he's a spammer from gardenbanter.

I don't do business with people like that.

and once again gardenbanter takes a battering from a member of the urg
clique :-((

How two faced can members of the clique be when one of their own members
'pushes' their business at EVERY opportunity?
