I did not snatch a cat.
A cat will not tick me off.
A cat does dig in MY garden.
I am perfectly legal with what I do. Which is trapping the thing and
handing the lucky thing to the RSPCA.
Is there a word or letter in all of the above that you do or do not
understand?

The Theft Act of 1968 states that a cat is the property of its' owner.
The theft of a cat is treated as an offence under the Act in the same
way as the theft of any other property.
see

thelaw.pdf By trapping the cat, even if you do hand it over to the
RSPCA, or any other animal rescue/welfare group, you are breaking the
law.

No I am not, I have been in touch with the authorities about this.

Yes you are, Baz and be very careful about trapping pet cats that happen to
pass through your garden.
It is not legal to do it. At all.
Yes, if you are a gardener, cat.

It can be annoying. but they do the rodents
