We have been going on about fading labels for a long time.
How about some lateral thinking.
How about dark or blach labels and white ink?

It seems that nobody beleives me that a pencil works on many surfaces.
Simple as it sounds.

Some of my labels written in ordinary pencil outlive the plants! I
never use any other method, but agree it's not so professional
looking. I just clean them off with a fine scourer and start again.
I've just had to clean off 4 labels from agapanthus which did not
survive the winter!
