Default First pea!

I was watering the peas today thinking "wow, flowers already" and noticed
.... a pea! First one. Looks like a mange tout atm. I think it will grow
into a Big Pea some time soon!

Bloody hell! We've got tonnes of flowers, but haven't seen a fruit yet.
Although blokey on the allotment says tomorrow night is expecting a frost!
(despite being past the 'last frost date' - apparently there was a frost in
early June here some years back!). Might look for a giant fleece to throw
over them, just in case.

Magic moments. I love that feeling too. Good luck with them.

I have quite a few fruitlets coming on now, but not expecting my first
picking for at least a couple of weeks. And that's early for me. I
wouldn' normally expect picking until the first week in June.
