Ooh now a goat or two first, That might be an idea! They cleared the
original area with two sets of pigs over a couple of years , it's now just
grass so maybe a goat for a while?

Goats are browsers not grazers. They much prefer shrubs, bushes, hedges
etc.

Oh dear ! Won't suggest that then!/

I'm always surprised at how quickly their chickens and other assorted

enclosure!

I've even seen one devour a spent Nov 5th firework rocket.

Liked the BBQ taste maybe !

I've considered taking the chickens for a run around the allotment on the
weedy patches, but keeping them in the right spot is a bit risky

Why not use a poultry ark?

..

If you are allowed to keep poultry on your allotment. I wasn't on mine.

I wasn't planning on keeping them there, just visiting with them to do a
spot of weeding.
