Interesting site with some very good pics. Well worth browsing.

Either scroll down home page for plant groups, or go to Index.

Thanks, Dave. Great site - worth a visit for the eclectic collection
of links, never mind the plants!

Any idea of the approximate location the garden is in the UK? I
assume
SW, but it could be anywhere.

If you're in to carnivorous plants, John held an open day way back in June
at Redruth:-

Incidentally I went to DennisB's open day about 3 years ago (nice buffet)
and purchased a lot of Pings and Sarracenias at a very good price.

He lives in Cornwall near me.
Plant collections are even more amazing in the flesh! Not open though.

Am I right in thinking that - in the nicest possible way - he's the person
we once talked about who's a bit of a recluse? I remember another friend
who lived in Looe had visited that garden and said it was wonderful,
assuming I have the right one!

No I think that may have been Edward Needham's garden you are thinking of,
John's garden I think he would admit is still a work in progress! a lot of
space is taken up with very large homemade greenhouse structures housing the
plant collections, it was Hedychiums that attracted my attention but he has
many other areas of interest.
