Is this the worst garden pest of all time?

Well it's certainly up there with Mares tails and bindweed.

Both of those are invasive self-spreaders, and hard to eradicate.
Unlike cupressus leylandii.

Depends if it's in your garden or not.

Sorry to tell you, but the url does not work.

Baz

If you look at the e-mail address you will see that the url ends as .com

Add this to the website and it will work.

Tried the link but it said No.
I am falling out with my next door neighbour big time about my Lawsons
Cypressus which she wants me to take down.
I will probably do it to avoid bad feeling, but she's been so..awful,
coming
round and ringing my bell and knocking on my window. *It's an insurance
claim and there is no reason for her to do that.

Have you tried having her in for a cup of coffee and a chat? *These things
make neighbours nervous so if she knows you're prepared to do something
she may calm down a bit.

It's gone beyond that, we now hate each other and I cannot see it getting
much better.
Such a pity. *I never fell out with neighbours in 25 years of living here.- Hide quoted text -

What a perfectly idiotic but typical remark. It isn't women who kill each
other over a hedge.

I can't say I'm happy about it, but I've agreed that my conifers come down
in a month or so, to avoid any birds nesting in them.
We used to be friends but I don't think that will continue as she was *so*
bad about it all, banging on my door and windows and ringing my phone all
the time. Totally over the top.
