Patio roses
From time to time we get given little pots with miniature roses in -
normally about 4 to a pot. They tend to be left outside in the original pot and some survive and others don't. Has anyone had success in transplanting these roses to larger pots for a long term display, or planting them out in borders? I don't recall seeing miniature roses in flower borders but if they survive outside in the original pot they should grow in borders, I assume? I only ever prune any dead step tips off and deadhead it, otherwise leave it alone. The second died fairly quickly. Cheers, Jake ======================================= Urgling from Swansea Bay. writes Has anyone had success in transplanting these roses to larger pots for a long term display, or planting them out in borders? Yes. Planted three from someone's pot last year and they have survived and seem to be flourishing. -- Janet Tweedy Dalmatian Telegraph http://www.lancedal.demon.co.uk |
