Default Nice bit of Snow

Well they were right about us getting snow.
Here at this end if Swansea bay we have had around 4 inches and it's
snowing again, not hard but it all adds up.
Makes the place look nice

At this end, we had a bit of a laugh earlier. They closed the M4
between Pyle and Bridgend both ways. Diverted the traffic to the A48.
The A48 was also closed both ways between Pyle and Bridgend.

Generally the snow's around 2" deep but thanks to a freak of the wind,
I have a mini drift, a bit over a foot, across the end of the drive!

As I write, the snow's getting heavier again but is forecast to turn
to rain in a few hours.

Cheers, Jake

Not so bad here in Glais so far but it could build up.

In the centre of Wales, we have about 8 inches level
on the lawn, plus some quite dep accumulations agains
walls & hedges.

Down the road a bit, they have reportedly over 10
inches - Sennybridge according to BBC London, and
Tirabad according to Dereck (BBC Wales weatherman) -
quite facinating really, as they are about 8 miles
apart (as the crow flies) one on the south side of the
Erynt and the other on the north!

They say we had 10cm, about 4 inches. Certainly the most snow we have had
for a few years, and it's due to last too they say.
