Default Snow & polytunnels

Hope I'm not teaching any grandmothers or grandfathers to suck eggs but
do brush heavy snow off polytunnels. The weight can do quite a bit of
damage.

Hi Trevor! Bit of an ongoing project for some of you. We've had very
little snow here and most of it has gone. There's one big glob waiting
to fall on the head of some unwary person going into the large
greenhouse at just the wrong moment! I'm trying to decide whether to
warn them... ;-)

Give priority to having your camera ready.

I think you must have met my daughter!

That reminds me of the small Japanese man who was almost buried under
a pile of sow after my son lobbed a well aimed snowball into a tree
covered in snow at Schloss Linderhof in Bavaria. On the same day he
and his sister made a large snow ball and rolled it down a hill
towards a busload of tourists. Luckily it missed.

This makes me remember bringing a boat alongside a pontoon on which a
very small Frenchman was standing. The rather beefy English boy aboard
leaped onto the pontoon to tie up and the small Frenchman took off like
a circus acrobat and landed in the River Rance! Even he was helpless
with laughter once he'd been helped out!
