Smile Tomatoes

I am again growing the Tomato "Gourmet" from Unwins. They are a mid sized Tom (similar size to Moneymaker) of good flovour and texture. This year we were on hols until mid February and so did not sow the seed until mid Feb. wereas I usually sow in late January.
When large enough to prick-out they are put into 4 inch pots, kept in the heated conservatory until 3 inches high and then removed into the heated GH with the autumn rooted cutting of Penstemum, Ivy leaf Pelargoniums, early March sown Cosmos and Marigolds.
At present the Toms are 4 inches high and in another 3 weeks they will go into their 18 inch fruiting tubs. They usually begin to ripen in mid June to early July depending on sowing date and temperature - I keep the air temperature at 60 degrees with a thermostatic fan heater.
Have any of you tried Gourmet and if so what did you think of it? What varieties of mid size Toms do you grow.
