What for pots? (Or, wot for phats?)

I have some pots ranging in internal diameter from 15 cm to 33 cm. Any
suggestions for what I can grow in them out of doors? I might bring the
smaller ones in to a conservatory in the worst weather, but once the 33
cm one is planted, it is staying where it is. Round-year interest is
sought. I know nothing about gardening.
