Default Duck Egg

My daughter's pond attracts anything up to 25 - 30 Ducks. Some nest on the
Island in the middle and in years past have produced chicks, however, an egg
was laying on the path today. Is it edible? It's in the fridge at the moment
as it was very cold when I picked it up!!

Mike
