Default Moving clematis - initial success!

Our medium-sized C. Montana seems to have survived its move. We've left
it with 18" stems and several tiny green shoots are emerging. It's
getting a regular watering, but what else would help it survive? Any
advice gratefully received...

'Andrew',

Good news, but it is 'early days' being that you only moved it in late
April. At the moment it will be struggling to form new roots so just
keep it moist and shade it from very hot sunshine should we have any.
Also, give it a feed.

Good luck,

Regards,
Emrys Davies.
