Default Clematis Cuttings

Hi everyone

When is the best time to take cuttings. last year I took 6 that all rooted
but then I lost them last winter

It all depends which species of clematis you have, climbing or herbaceous.
Climbers, July and herbaceous, now! For climbers, do make sure that you
keep your rooted cuttings in a frost free environment over winter or you'll
lose them.
