Some of the groups I have been known to frequent would be better using OT
to mean ON topic VBG; nothing to do with me you understand Oh no,

I agree, although there's a little too much traffic on urg for me to
read every post to find the subthreads that are, um, maturing :-) I
delight in slightly smaller groups where almost every thread continues
to become an interesting conversation about something completely
unrelated to the subject line, and where no one complains about this --
those who do are told it's The One True Way :-)
