Default Acers in Hampshire

We are searching for an ACER shirasawanum 'Aureum' in Hampshire area.

We viewed one whilst on holiday in Cumbria and they look superb

thanks

Don.',

There are 42 suppliers of this shrub in this country, but in Hampshire
you can obtain them at Tadley and Lymingtom as per this site.

Try Hillier Nurseries (Winchester) Limited, Ampfield House, Ampfield,
Romsey, Hants, SO5 9PA. Sorry no phone number.
Hilliers also have an arboretum at Jermyns Lane, Romsey, Hants.

A few years ago there was a specialist acer nursery somewhere near the
Knoll Gardens. (that's Hants isn't it?) Can't be more specific but
local yellow pages might help. I was taken by a friend and have
forgotten name and place.
