Need suggestions for garden visits
Any ideas? I know it's a bad time of year and a loosely defined
subject, but we had no control over that and have to make the best of it. Thanks in advance. W. I just found this and thought that you might find it useful: http://www.ngs.org.uk/octgardensbyappt03.htm Regards Nick |

We live in Holland and it hasn't put us off visiting Castle Howard :-) There is civilisation north of Watford. -- Martin |

The OP asked for places close to Bristol, which is where he lives. I quote "We're looking for suggestions within the scope of a day trip from the Bristol area, preferably within a 100 mile radius, or a bit more if it's outstanding." -- Sacha (remove the 'x' to email me) |

I quote "We're looking for suggestions within the scope of a day trip from the Bristol area, preferably within a 100 mile radius, or a bit more if it's outstanding." but that had been snipped. I delete posts except those worth keeping after I have read them. Castle Howard is outstanding. Perhaps those not living in Bristol might be interested in gardens to visit too -- Martin |
